Dwayne Williams Jr. is a visionary entrepreneur, storyteller, and advocate dedicated to transforming challenges into opportunities. As the President and CEO of NXST, a tech firm he founded in 2020, Dwayne specializes in providing cutting-edge safety solutions for high-stress, time-sensitive emergencies like active shooter incidents. NXST’s groundbreaking 3D virtual mapping technology consolidates critical information for first responders, empowering them to make rapid, life-saving decisions. With a mission rooted in his personal journey—including surviving a shooting at age 17—Dwayne is committed to safeguarding innocent lives and creating safer communities.
Beyond his work in tech innovation, Dwayne’s career spans security roles at large-scale events and public safety teams, where he honed his skills in crisis management and team coordination. A proud graduate of Mott College with a degree in Criminal Justice, he also leads impactful community initiatives, including his work with S.W.A.G.G. (Students Working Against Gangs and Gun Violence), promoting emotional intelligence and positive change among youth.
